These shoes are made for road running, not for trail and mountain running which is mainly what I do. Check out the wear and tear.
This rip happened on the second time I wore them.
So I decided to try some trail shoes, you know, the kind that are designed to be worn on trails.
I tried on some La Sportiva Wildcats the other day and they feel more rigid and have less cushioning but I loved how they held my heel and how the toe box is open. I ended up buying them on www.backcountry.com and saved about $40.00 plus I got free shipping. I have to say that I am nervous but excited. I have 5 miles today and the trails are all muddy and icy. Perfect way to break them in.
Just call me Starr.
