I went away for the weekend with my older sister
and my sister-in-law (it was her birthday)
to a scrapbook retreat. I haven't scrapbooked for a long time!
We arrived Friday night and got checked in to the hotel. Then we went into the conference room to get set up. We got a lot of pages done and plenty of laughing and talking in too. I even took a quick trip to the 1-hour photo center to pick up more pictures. Saturday morning my running schedule said to run 20 miles. I optimistically thought it would be easy on the treadmill since I wouldn't be running up any mountains like I usually do. Ha-ha-ha! Treadmills suck! Especially treadmills in a room next to the swimming pool.
The humidity was unbelievable! Somehow I made it through. Those were the hardest miles I have ever done and that is saying a lot! After a quick shower I went back in for more scrapbooking. Then we went to lunch at a local sandwich shop. My meal was so amazing. Just looking at the picture makes me want to go back.
We got a lot done thanks to a good supply of yummy treats and Dr. Pepper.
I need to do that more often.
Just call me Starr.
